FACIAL CARE TIP
CLEANSERS
Please do not use soap on the face. Most soaps contain an
ingredient called Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which can clog the
pores of the skin and is also too strong for the sensitive skin of
the face and neck. It will strip the skin of its naturally occurring
moisturizers and cause the skin to age prematurely. By the time
you reach your 30s/40's there will already be deep lines and
heavy wrinkling in your faces because your skin was always so
dry!
DID YOU KNOW THAT SOME WELL KNOWN AND
POPULAR FACIAL WASHES (CLEANSERS) ON THE
MARKET HAVE THE SAME PH AS some cleaners used for
your bathrooms! So please put more thought into the products
you are using ON your skin!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also be aware of products that contain perfume or synthetic
fragrance, these can cause dryness (perfumes contain alcohol),
irritation, discoloration and so on.
THE USE OF WATER AS A CLEANSER IS DRYING OUT
YOUR SKIN!
Skin is a protective organ and has an "acid mantle" covering
the entire surface to protect itself from unhealthy bacteria and
free radicals. This acidic protective layer is low on the ph scale
(4-6.5) and can be destroyed by more alkaline products such as
detergent-based soaps and water which has a ph of 7.
It takes time for the acid mantle to re-establish itself once it has
been stripped away by harsh cleansers and/or water alone. It is
important to use the proper cleansers, toners and moisturizers
as well as quality products to help restore and balance your
skins natural ph level which will help you heal the skin and
avoid premature aging.
Also please do not wash your face in the shower, too harsh and
extremely drying for your facial skin!
Please do not splash/wash face with hot or cold water it
promotes broken capillaries (thread like veins) tepid/warm water
is best......
